The maternal sensitivity to infant cues showed significant difference according to the educational experience in parenting(t=2.601, p=.010) and infant¡¯s weight at birth(F=3.166, p=.045). The parenting confidence showed significant difference according to the mother¡¯s age(F=2.363, p=.048), educational experience in parenting (t=2.850, p=.005), and gender of baby(t=-2.1804, p=.031). There was a statistically significant positive correlation between the maternal sensitivity to infant cues and parenting confidence(r=.438, p<.001).
